“Double chocolate” means there’s dark Dutch process cocoa mixed into the dough, as well as 60% dark chocolate Bravarian bits added later. Last time I made the Double Chocolate-Cherry I used frozen cherries and soaked dried cherries. This batch, however, will contain dried cherries and currants, as well as a frozen triple berry mix of raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries! All that fruit, along with the chocolate bits will be hand-folded into the dough. If you’re lucky enough to get a loaf, don’t forget to try an unforgettable French Toast, or toasted with cream cheese! Ermahgerd! 😉
