Lacto-fermented Mixed Veggie (28oz) $8 – ONE PER CUSTOMER, PLEASE!
This is my second take on the lacto-fermented veggie loaf. I liked the “Red Baran” so much that I wanted take it to a new level. This loaf will feature my own 14-day, lacto-fermented red cabbage, carrot, *AND* red beets. The cool part is that I have been using a new fermentation technique that utilizes vacuum bags with no additional water. The thought behind this unique method is that the nutrients and flavor will be locked in the vegetables instead of being diluted by the traditional water submersion method. This could be weird, could be wonderful, but most certainly will be like nothing you’ve ever had before! I can’t wait to try it! 🙂
